Hi. I just got component cables for the Wii and ran Madden 08 on my 37" HDTV. I'm very disappointed -- the players look extremely pixellated, with many "jaggies." It is not clear at all. On my standard def TV, the view was zoomed out, but the quality was never this poor. I never saw another 480p game on my TV before, so I don't know if this is normal or not.
What are other peoples' experiences with Madden 08 in 480p... should it be looking better on my TV? Should 480p be a noticeable improvement with this title?
Thanks.|||It's not your TV, it's Madden. I have several other Wii games that look amazing in 480p on my 37" widescreen HDTV via a component cable. Madden looks awful in comparison. If you're used to EA's Wii efforts, you'll be shocked by the quality of graphics the Wii can attain when you try a game like Excite Truck, which looks phenomenal in 480p.
