EA_Patrick...about Matt Forte

wow, I don't know if it's the same for other players, but his rating has gotten really screwed up. The BTK is all well and good, but this is a guy who fumbled once, ONCE, all of last season. Since the last roster drop, he's fumbled at least twice every game in 5 games...Not even on big hits. Almost all of them have come from non user tackles. This needs fixed. Badly.|||

I played with the bears 1 time this year, b/c my best friend wanted me to when he was at my house. Well, it was just one of those games, and Forte fumbled 5 times, and Hester fumbled 2 times, out of those 7 fumbles 5 were recovered by the other guy, and 2 for TD's, and 2 other ones that were recovered by him, was when i was in scoring range, 1 of which was when i was goin into the endzone. Needless to say, i havent played as the bears since then. O yea, Go Packers!|||well, I feel kinda silly, but.....
While the servers were down, I started a franchise, at the All-Madden level. It turns out that my global game settings switched to All-Madden too. I didn't realize this would happen. I figured just the franchsie would be All-Madden and global game would remain on all-pro. WRONG.
I realized this not only because of the fumbilities, but in all the online games since I had started that franchise, user-catch stopped working, when I wasn't user catching my receivers had the dropsies, I dropped interceptions I normally would catch, and it was really hard to perform a big-hit. Then I remembered in 09, the issue with the franchise difficulty copying to the global. I checked my settings and sure enough. The weird thing is that the actuall difficulty still said all-pro, but all the auto catch, user assist stuff was turned off like it would be for All-Madden.
The bummer is it took a 3 game losing streak to figure out that this was screwed up. Since I corrected it, I can once again do all the things I could before, I'm back to my winning ways, and the fumbilities has gone away too.
I know, the online games are supposed to be all-pro, but just like last year, your global gameplay settings will transfer into the online game.|||

That is NOT true, that doesnt happen.|||why would I make that up? At least it did happen to me. Like I said, after all that was happening, I went ahead and checked my general game setting and it said all-pro, but all of the assist stuff was turned off, like in All-Madden. If I remember right, All-Pro still has the auto assist stuff on.
If you're referring to the auto-assist on or off translating to online play, in my experience, it does. I.E. If you general game setting is set with auto assist off, then online, you have to actually flick the wiimote and make the catch gesture to user catch instead of just having to get the receiver to the spot. Same with the D in swatting or going for picks.|||

i know it did in 09, not sure about 10, but i am assuming that it does since IdgKdg said it did...|||Yeah, I'm pretty sure that your settings carry over into online play. Like your audio, visual, game play settings, etc. I actually like it since I don't have to do all of my settings every time I go online.
