Newbie Questions.

I've read all up and down to find these answers so I apologize if they have been covered.
1.While I understand "fair play" why is it in a ranked game can myself or opponent go on 4th down if it's not the last 2 min of a half?
2.Is play now alwyas ranked or can I get paired with an opp who has set up a non ranked game and is just waiting for an opp.?
3.While online I think it's called my preferences I can change my status to "All Madden" how does this affect me if all ranked games are set to Pro?
4.My buddy is always the Eagles he constatntly rolls far right and throws all the way across the field left on a screen play, since I cannot see all the way left it's really annoying any defense suggestions? 90% of the time it's a completion with 2 OL blocking for a big gain. Im always Jax if that changes anything.
5. Do you all save rosters "everytime" you log on?
I'll start with that. I thank you for your help.|||1. Fair Play is designed to do just that: keep games fair and realistic. Fair Play allows you to go for it on fourth down if you have two yards or less to go on your opponent's side of the field or if you're losing in the fourth quarter. In most other situations, you'll be required to punt or kick a field goal.
2. Yes, Play Now is always ranked. If you want to play an unranked game, create one in one of the lobbies.
3. When you play a ranked game, the difficulty level is always All-Pro. This cannot be changed. When you create an unranked game, you can set it to any difficulty level you'd like. But you cannot change the difficulty within the game while playing online.
4. Try running a man-to-man defense and tightly covering the receivers. If that doesn't stop it, try calling a defense that doubles the receiver to whom he's constantly throwing it.
5. Yes.|||I've had people go for it on 4th at any time all over the field. Just last night someone was on there own 25ish 1st drive of the game and went for it.
Is this a glitch that isn't listed inthe glitch thread?|||If they went for it on fourth down on their own side of the field and they weren't losing in the fourth quarter, either you were playing an unranked game with Fair Play turned off or they were exploiting a cheat.|||Thanks Dan for your help
