Steelersball

You are some hypocrite coming on here talking about glitching...
Well I was the Steve366 guy beating your butt 35-14 when you concede glitched me.
Absolutely no mistaking it....first the guy tries friendly quit, then when I try to offer mercy, I get rejected. Then concede over and over...then I'm booted with a loss and a d/c.
So you just play upright if you think you've seen them on here? Here I'm thinking at least someone on here would be straight-up.
Your game-o-cheese sucks, dude. Your defense is a joke...and you should get more than those four plays on offense.
At least you're good at glitching...everything that typifies the scum-baggery online.|||One other thing...hurry-up offense play after play.
I thought this was not allowed in fair play?|||hahahahaha steve is all over steelersball's balls. with all these posts lol.|||and no, steve. they allowed it in this year's version. it's not a glitch or cheating. if ur good, then u'll realize what they're doing.|||No it wasn't a big deal; I was just surprised. I've had a few times where I unintentionally initiated a hurry-up, then quickly called a TO to avoid the penalty. like in '09...that kinda pissed me off.
It wasn't a problem with this guy, though. All he would do is use the same play or switch right/left...lol.|||Dude. All I did was ask you for mercy. You REJECTED my plea. Then you offered mercy, not sure what that was about and I accidentally declined then asked for mercy again and you accepted. I did not "glitch" you as I do not know how. But I found it pretty "sportsmanlike" that when I asked for mercy with you 3 tds ahead and only 2 mins left you rejected it. So classy... You complain about me running the hurry up, dude I was down by 2 TD's. Get over it. You're a bit whiny... Oh, and you pulled the first "class" move by using the Steelers after you saw I was using them. Not that it is wrong, just shows you are a classy guy and all. If you are indeed a guy. Same play? I use at LEAST 8 different plays per game. They're called audibles DS...|||

Dude. All I did was ask you for mercy. You REJECTED my plea. Then you offered mercy, not sure what that was about ...

In 09 there was a problem where if you accepted a players request to concede, you often did not get the win. So in 09, the way to get around it was to decline the concede request and offer mercy, this in most cases did get you the win. So in 10, many of the players who played 09, will do the same thing. I'm not sure if it's an actual problem in 10, but why take the chance? I do the same thing. It's not meant to rub it in, it's just something that has carried over from 09 to 10. Hope that helps regarding that issue.|||I do the same-thing, I don't accept the mercy, and then I grant them. B/c of what happened in 09.|||

You actually conceded more than 10 times; I only had the chance to reject a couple, so you were obviously requesting and cancelling quickly over and over (as you did with the FQ). I've had this exact thing done to me more than once here (and seen you complain about it yourself). BTW, I offered mercy more than once. As far as I know, accepting concedes leads to a d/c...at least in '09 it did (exactly as dschrute says). I wasn't able to even offer mercy until I had that last TD...but I was giving you another possession first. I gotta say though, if a guy's trying to ask for a FQ that late in the game, I get suspicious.
The hurry-up I was talking about was in the 1st quarter...tie game. I wasn't complaining; just didn't know you could do that.
Anyone knows me knows I play the Steelers (usually Steel365 in '09); I've never even tried another team. Sorry...all those pass plays looked exactly the same - same formation to same default receiver. Maybe you use the same audibles too much? You didn't see me run one play more than 2-3 times.
Scramble on here all you want...you just didn't know you were playing a guy that's on this forum; that's the reality.
And class is something to display when you lose, not just when you win. Take a loss like a man. Maybe try and get better instead of looking to cheat the other guy out of a win. BTW, I've always wondered...I got a loss and d/c - what did you get? Do you actually get the win?
Oh...I just rented the game, and have played for like 4 days (maybe 12 games)...feel better???
|||Steve, you sound like you are pretty good for playing for 4 days. It takes a lot longer to get used to the new controls and how it works. All the hot routes, and sliding, and crashes and stuff. If you bought the game, you could be a great player. I would like to play ya before you take it back, and I will see what and how you are at it.|||

Believe me, I don't get how most of the intricacies work. I've been quite frustrated trying to figure out how to slide coverage/protection, key on players, etc. The menu thing just frustrates the hell out of me and I found I didn't have the time to use anything. So I gave up, and just have fun. I rely on play calling...although I have figured out how to audible at least (if I get time to set them).
I'm on at night, so sure a game would be great (and now I've brilliantly spilled that my pre-snap technique is nonexistant...lol). I take the game back Friday, but I'll probably buy it because '09 gets shut down soon, and I'm addicted enough to online play that waiting for '11 won't happen. The glitching in '10 is really bad, at least at the level 1/2 range. I started over 'cause I was 5-1, then got a few glitch losses (3 after the game was over that I won were the worst). So I think I'm 0-2 with a 100% d/c rate, thanks to buddy and someone else. Just so you know...
Don't worry...I have no illusions that I'll get smoked...lol|||steve m10 is dumbed down a lot so the playing field is more equal - you can still do all the presnap stuff but it is time consuming and you can get caught with a snap while you are adjusting and since it is menu based and not on dpad. you are not watching the field sometimes when the ball is snapped.
for defense you click on "b" while hovering over a db and the menu pops up to do slides, press the receivers, whatever. same on offense click on a lineman for shitfts a reciever for hotroutes/motion........very clunky to try to make several adjustments in time but you do get pretty fast at it after a while.|||I am sorry you have a problem with me. Like I said. I did nothing but offer concede, you declined, you offered, I accidentally declined, then I offered again and you accepted. I know you accepted b/c the screen just went to the online home. I got a LOSS but no drop so things were right on my end. Don't know what happened on yours.
