Hi guys, started playing recently. I am finding it difficult to catch the ball. Also when the QB throws the ball it seams to be a lob even when reciever is wide open this allows the safety to come over and knock it away. Thanks for any help and suggestions.
I don't QUIT!!! unless the WIFE needs me! lol|||LOL, welcome to the online play for Wii Madden 09. No bullet passes makes moving the ball through the air alot more difficult in this game.|||How about finding open receivers? What do you look for ? Someone hjoldin up their hand, the color change for open or covered, or just if it looks like he's open? I'm color blind so the color thing does nothing for me|||Finding the open receiver? what a great concept, thanks. Of course I look for the open receiver and the green color change. If they are wide open and no defender is around they catch it. The main problem is the f***in lob passes. How can I catch the ball more often when there is a defender around? it is suppose to be Z + up with the remote and chuck, but this does not seam to work. Anybody else have some advice to help me with catching the ball? Thanks

Secondly then you will have to pick a D pad direction to throw the football. You have to fling the wiimote hard ot get a bullet offline, online it is impossible|||TO:GBPACKERSFTW
Thanks for the response. I do have all play turned off and I do use the D pad to select receiver, but if there is a defender around they will not catch the ball, oh??? wait??? My team is the JAGUARS, their receivers can't catch!! LOL I have learned that the bullet pass is impossible online, but I am serious about how I can control the receiver catching ability, or is this strickly the CPU?|||I love the Jags, use them or SD. Dam Jags receivers, Jones, Porter, Northcutt, Te Lewis. drop alot . I put MDrew Jones at wr3 seems to help. Thank God, Garrard can scramble
