Anyone having trouble connecting online in the lobby

My friend and I are trying to play each other but we're having trouble connecting. I can start a room with others but not with my friend. It says the connection has timed out only when I try to play against my friend. Any ideas? He can join games (except for mine), but not start one. We haven't had any problems playing together in Medal of honor heroes 2.|||idont know why but for some reason eas wii servers are garbage and theres alot of people that cant ever play eachother cause they cant conect to eachother thats why you spend a half an hour trying to find a match blame ea!
