Anybody ever notice this?

Has anyone noticed that when playing online, you have plays that are in your playbook that ARE NOT there offline? I was playing this guy and I used SB 3 WR formation and picked "Quick Slants" play. I went offline and couldn't find it. Anyone else notices this?|||Are you sure you it wasn't there. Sometimes the plays move themselves around I have no idea why but it happens to me sometimes. The only thing I have noticed is that when I set my audibles all my plays aren't in the audible play book screen.|||You know Core, you might be right. Its a pain in the a$$ to go looking for a play when the clock is running.....|||Yeah it sucks when it happens because I run alot of the plays out of the same formation so I know what order the plays are usually in. So when the order switches it seems like I'm not even in the right formation and I back out and go back in. Like you said a pain in th A$$ when the clock is running.|||Yeah, the order of the formations in the playbook is often different when your playing online and offiline.
What really makes me angry though is that you cant change your defensive playbook online |||i think you should be able to use custom playbooks online|||Actually it isnt just the order that changes online. There are indeed whole plays that are found on the online playbooks but not found offline. For example, online under the "Outside runs" playbook, there is a play called "Strong Toss", but that play ins't there offline.
It's frustrating, to say the least, because it makes practicing more difficult.

Well, apparently your website is about as well put together as your Madden 09 for the WII. I just tried posting in a thread and it wont even let me. The last thing i see is something posted by Iceman23wave and it says 'An error has occurred and will be fixed by an administrator.' well, we all know that will never happen because you guys obviously don't know how to fix a broken shoe lace let alone a website or one of your top selling games. so with that said, i will post in this thread what i attempted to type in the thread that you said you supposedly fixed our issues that we have been complaining about for 4 months. so here it goes....
Bullets still don't work online, is there something you need to do inorder to get this to work? is it coming as a patch in the roster update? who ever the programmers are over there need to be fired, because they obviously have no idea of how to put together a good online game, and it is just reflecting poorly on you ea. maybe next year you guys should search for people with a bachelors or masters in computer engineering/programing. maybe they will actually be able to program a game unlike the high school drop outs you have over there now.|||This is brilliant edawg. Seriously EA, you really need to do something quick or you will lose hundreds of players in mere weeks if you let this continue. I know it takes a while to fix, but i highly doubt it should take you a year to fix all these problems and put it into next years Madden. So please just put a patch into the roster updates and let these online problems be fixed.

Whose idea was it to change the pre-snap buttons?

Is there an option (how about a code) to change the pre-snap buttons back to the way they were in 08 and 09?
In the other Maddens, when I wanted my defense to show blitz I just had to hit "right" then "left" on the control pad. Now I have to find a DB (which is a real pain when they're lining up), hit B, hope I didn't hit B in empty space or on a LB, and then go through all the buttons. I don't have a chance to do anything else and the play has already started.
This is frustrating as hell. If I were a 4 year old I would have thrown my wii-mote through the TV by now.|||Can someone tell me what the reasoning was for this? I just really hate how hard it is to motion your receivers and TE
s. Also now way to motion one way and then fake back the other. I just can't see what the advantage of making this stuff so hard was. The pre snap stuff was actually one of the cleanest features of last year.|||I have to agree.. in 09 the pre-snap controls were very simple and easy.. for users of all ages.. they way it is in 10 is much harder and much more frustration regardless of what kind of player you are

Franchise

So I have updated my roster online and started a franchise. Great right. So why when I get to the off-season after retirements does the game lock up and freeze. It has something to do with the online roster because I have tried different franchises and with the original rosters it works fine. I thought it was my game and had returned it ti the store for a new one and it still happened. Why can I not use the updated rosters in franchise mode? Anyone else have this problem?|||When did you update the rosters? This was a problem in a previous update, but a new roster update went up recently (today it seems) that supposedly fixes the issue.|||i updated my rosters on sunday oct 4th|||Try updating again, there was an update between the 4th and 6th although I'm not sure when it went up. It only corrects the cause of the freeze issue (hopefully, although I haven't finished a franchise year yet to test it).
