NEW ROSTER DROP
Roster and Depth Chart accurate through Week 5.
The roster file will deploy overnight sometime around 3am EST.
Enjoy

No. He signed yesterday. The Rosters and Depth Chart are complete as of Tuesday (really after MNF).|||Will I actually be able to tackle Brian Westrook now or will my defenders still just bounce off of him?|||lol
Use the Redskins, London Flector is small enough to get level with him.
Now will Sean Smith be on the Dolphins because he wasn't on the 2nd update.|||Yes I was right!
I will be intrigued to see how the ratings have been changed, whether or not players that are doing well got huge increases or just minor ones.|||Hopefully nothing is too messed up.
On a side note, why do you have to pull IR players from the game? It messes up my franchise. (Is afraid that Aaron Smith will disappear during next month's RU).|||

Yup. Sean is on the Dolphins.

Aaron is still there, for now.
|||Hello? Should I expect more mysterious, unnamed players only identifiable by a jersey number to show up on my Texans roster?
What about the tackling? Will it still require 3 defensive linemen to take down 1 running back?|||

Hello? Should I expect more mysterious, unnamed players only identifiable by a jersey number to show up on my Texans roster?

The reason for the generic players is in a few other threads, but i'll go ahead and explain again.
The Wii/PSP/PS2 engines all have roster requirements that do not align with actual NFL rosters. For example, the Wii forces teams to have 2 Centers on a roster to get into franchise. Should you have only 1, the game will tell you that you do not have enough Centers on your roster, and need to sign a free agent or trade.
There are three ways to handle this. 1) Put an actual player from another position at Center, 2) Create a generic player to fill that position, or 3) Do nothing and force the user to add whomever they like, but at the inconvenience of Franchise not allowing you into game. In previous roster drops, we've deployed with all three options and have been negatively reflected on the forums. Option 2 is our ideal solution.
We have aligned the roster breakdown for 11 so this is an issues that ends at 2010 on the Wii. For the record, PS3/X360 also have this issue and have gone with option 3, do nothing, and have built additional screens to allow you to sign a player without exiting Franchise.
Hope this helps. |||

I've seen this answer before. How many CB's does the Wii engine require on a roster? The Texans have 5. Is that not enough?|||Okay, I appreciate some of the adjustments made, but I've got a few complaints about the new update (and I haven't even bothered looking at the other teams yet).
First off, thanks for increasing the abilities of Mendenhall, Wallace, Kemoeatu, Fox, and what appears to be a tiny increase in Miller, as well as adding Davis, Johnson, Bailey, and Ratliff. And thanks for removing some of the players that just don't belong.
Second, and I'm not entirely sure how the franchise is set up, but doesn't leaving players in the game on rosters and just giving them SEA injuries or something instead of removing them and adding new mythical players make more sense in some of these cases? Stapleton could be filling the G void instead of #60. Obviously I'd rather see a player tagged with an injury than completely removed.
On the complaints side of things; don't worry, nothing too major.
Stat-wise (I know stats come down from the other systems) Miller is still too slow, and I think Mendenhall may have gotten slower at some point, or maybe I just didn't notice it before. William Gay and Ike Taylor are still better than what they've been given, and Ratliff is too high. Starks and Hartwig are also a little on the high side..
And where did Jeff Reed's picture go?|||I have issues with this Dolphins situation. Chad Henne in now way in worst than Jamarcus Russell. Not to mention, 73 throw accuracy, i was expecting somewhat between 78-81. Great arm, great spiral, and did a great job making throws against a top 5 defense in the Jets, if you said you finished the roster AFTER the MNF game, how in the hell can you ignore Chad Henne, he's up there with Sanchez and Stafford for solid rookie QB's.|||On the subject of Jeff Reed,
You guys made him look like a little D-Lineman. I appreciate that he no longer looks like a twig, but RB sized probably would have been enough.
